Becoming a Kidpreneur

To begin with, there are different kinds of businesses for kids to start. One business you could do is keep pets for a limited time or babysit. Also, you could do one of my favorite things- paint.

Step 1. Business idea

The first step in starting a business is to think about the type of business you want to start. You can use the following ideas or think of your own.

• Open a lemonade stand

• Sell candy

• Walk dogs

• Mow lawns

• Sell drinks

• Wash cars

• Collect Cans

• Make joke books

• Groom pets

• Do yard work

Step 2. Raise money

The second step is to raise money to cover the costs in starting your business.
You can use the following ideas or think of your own.

• Save your allowance
• Make a loan with your parents
• Do odd jobs to earn the money

Step 3. Advertise

The third step is to advertise your business. You can use the following ideas or think of your own.

• Flyers
• Word-of-mouth
• Announcements
• Banners
• Newspaper ad
• Radio ad
